Kanisha Szekely is a multidisciplinary graphic designer from Winnipeg.
With several years of experience, she has honed in on her skills in visual design, brand identity, print layout, web design, and animation. She helps empower small businesses and individuals through compelling and strong visual identities.
Kanisha started her creative career in high school as a freelance photographer – shooting weddings, portraits, and executing editorial shoots. After graduating she enrolled in the Creative Communications program at Red River College where she developed an interest in visual communication and shifted her freelance to graphic design. She graduated in 2016 with a major in advertising.
During the day, she works at McKim Communications Group as a senior graphic designer. When she isn’t designing, Kanisha loves spending time outdoors with her dog Oxford, discovering new restaurants, and teaching boxing and spin at a local gym.
Throughout her career, Kanisha has received nominations and awards for her photography and graphic design work from the Signature Awards, Creative Communications Media Awards, and Emerge Media Awards.
